Is gabapentin effective in treating Restless Leg Syndrome?

Periodic Limb Movement Disorder - good for restless legs. I have restless leg syndrom and must take 5-6 requip per day to relieve. is gabapentin 100 mg effective?

Yes, studies have shown that gabapentin is equally effective as Requip in the treatment of RLS.

I have RLS and have got no relief from Gabapentin but everyone is different. Requip builds up in your system fast and then doesn't work anymore. I take 2mg od Ativan (Lorazapam) at bedtime and that seems to help me alot, take care RLS is no fun, marjorie zych
