I ran out of my usual medication for migraines, and my husband has these for his back. So, I took one. I was hoping to apply for a job with a different company and I believe they drug test. I didn't know if I should wait till it was out of my system before I apply or if it doesn't show up if I can go ahead.

I would think that as pentazocine is an opioid analgesic, it would most certainly show up on a drug screen. And since the naloxone is normally used to treat opioid-induced respiratory depression, it may appear as though you experienced an opiate related overdose. Unfortunately, I do not know how long it takes to be fully metabolised and excreted by the body. Your husband can always ask his doctor or pharmacist offhandedly. :-)
