Hello brandi2011. Yes and no. I'll explain. Pentazine is a phenothiazine antihistamine, and its qualities will and can be very sedating. Xanax, is a benzodiazepine anti-anxiety drug, which also sedates you. Same effect in that area, but completely different functions or intent. best wishes.
