Does it lose efficacy over time? Does it lose potency?

All meds by law need the shelf-life to be printed onto the label, some have 3 years & some 2 years, please do not take expired meds they need to be destroyed or turn them over for destruction to a pharmacy. Expired meds loose efficacy & potency.
