Did a medical doctor tell you to do this? Seriously? The bottle says very clearly that it is for EXTERNAL USE ONLY! Of course your throat is sore! Of course your stomach and esophagus hurt! I'm like kaismama --- I have a huge problem with you ingesting this solution, no matter how diluted it may be. My humble opinion is to get a second opinion and medication that is conventional and approved for your condition. You may be doing yourself more harm than good! Let us know how this turns out for you.

I have seen and heard of naturopathic and holistic Drs who recommend peroxide internally, even inhaled and by IV for various ailments. I think what you are using is a bit strong. I would never recommend that you do this treatment on your own (without a naturopathic Drs supervision) The naturopath I worked for didnt recommend more than 10 drops of food grade 35% peroxide be used (normal drug store peroxide is 3.5% and you never want to use pharmaceutical grade peroxide internally ONLY food grade 35% and ONLY diluted food grade) and you should never handle the 35% solution without using gloves as it can hurt your bare skin. Peroxide oxidizes (dissolves) tissue so you have to be very careful. This is why many wound care docs do not use pharmaceutical peroxide to clean wounds because it can destroy granulation (new) tissue. I do believe what dilution you are using is too strong and it is causing the burning pain and irritation.
Be sure that you are under the care of a reputable holistic practitioner who has experience with peroxide therapy-DO NOT do this treatment without supervision as it can cause you great harm if you do not know what you are doing. For those of you who havent heard of peroxide therapy, it is interesting. See: educate-yourself.org/cancer/benefitsofhydrogenperozide17jul03.shtml from Dr. David G. Williams for information on this treatment but again I emphasize, dont do this on your own-be sure that you do it under the supervision of a Dr whois familiar with it or you could wind up in big trouble.
