Pain - I am in a methadone treatment plan and I took (2) 10/325 mg Oxycodone/APAP Saturday 2/6/2010?

Thanks... I read somewhere that it stays in your system for 3 to 8 days. So, you don't think that is true?? I hope not. I don't need the oxycodone very often but wouldn't you know when I do need a couple, a unscheduled UA comes up!!

Thanks so much for all of your responses! I was sooo scared I was going to come up hot. Then I would have to come in every day instead of 1x a week to dose and lose at least 1 phase. I would love to get off this methadone but I don't want to go through withdrawls. I have 3 RX's of 90 count each of oxycontin 10mg that I am not taking because of the laws in MS methadone clinics. In WI where I came from, if you had an RX, you could take opiates, but not in MS. Anyway, back to the other question, would this oxycontin work for withdrawl? I have cronic pain in my neck, back and head from a car accident in 2005 and also migraines (Just occasionally now due to methadone). The meth is so expensive... almost $100 a week. I'd appreciate any answer. Thanks

Yes it would help with the withdrawals. But when you are out of Oxycodone then you'll really experience withdrawals. I would recommend talking with a doctor that prescribes Suboxone. You can find a doctor at Suboxone.com. That's the best drug to come off of because it only causes mild to moderate withdrawals when you get off it. I would recommend it do to the fact that the Oxycodone isn't the best drug do to the fact that it causes Euphoria. If you have Chronic Pain find a pain specialist and see what he recommends. He will probably recommend a Fentanyl patch or long acting narcotic. I guess you will have to wait until you're done with your Methadone stuff. Hope this helps. Good luck!
