Do NOT chew your medication! Not only are you doing it incorrectly, you may be abusing your medication and if your doc finds out you are chewing you may be released from his/her care. This is borderline abuse of your medication.
Just swallow them, as your patient print out probably states.
I am not trying to be rude, but you really need to be careful with your medication. I wish you the best,

brandnu, I have one older teenager, and a 22 yr old son. Unfortunately in today's society and the internet, they know a whole lot about drugs, and unfortunately have both messed with them. One has stopped. Even though I really didn't want to hear it, my teenager told me he chewed a few meds up. Like your taking. Scoring them. He stopped, because he found out how incredibly harmful it was, doing it. I wanted to faint when he told me he did it, but I was also thankful that he stopped. I'm not getting into what all it will do to harm you, and he told me how teenager's or any age will try the stupidest things. Two months ago, while he was staying with us trying to stay clean, I walked into his room and he was crying because one of his buddies back home died, doing something like this. Please rethink about what your doing with your life. Ruthie
