Let your husband's doctor know that your insurance company refuses to pay for that drug. Sometimes they can get you a waiver or he/she may offer you samples or another drug that will work. Most insurance companies will not take a truly sick patient or have a waiting period to cover them. If there is an agent out there who will take your husband's case, I hope they respond to you. God Bless You. You can ask your pharmacist for the names of meds that are like the one he is taking. Most pharmacies will fill a partial fill if it is not a restricted medicine. Ask if that is a drug they can do a partial fill on, or if it is even worth it to do the partial fill.

Our doctor has written many requests to the insurance co but they still deny the claim. there is one drug he can try but have been having no luck getting it. they order it and it never comes and I doubt it will work but am still trying to figure out why we can't get it. they say they don't make it anymore but the doc says they do in smaller mg.
