Our drugstore told us that Maalox had been recalled which is why Walmart and Our drug store doesn't?

It probably is true. I bought some a month ago but never used it. I wanted Mylanta but there wasn't any of that. I bet that was also recalled. There has been a lot of recalls and a lot of various shortages of drugs. This has been going on since last Spring, and it is getting worse. Maybe try Gaviscon (sp), it's another ant acid med. Or maybe you can take OTC Zantac? I use them too. Things are getting bad medication wise. I hope you find what you need.
