Start them on the first sunday of your period, even if it starts on a sunday, it is because of the hormone levels and the fact that within 3 months of accurately taking it, it resets your cycle. You will be safe from pregnancy AFTER the 21rst active pill has been taken correctly and you didn't miss any. Set an alarm on your phone to remind you to take it.
