... had to detox due to bowel problem. 14 yr pain patient morphine pump was placed on the subutex @ hospital. the subutex is controling the pain ?? has anyone else experienced this where subutex has help with chronic pain. please advise

With the advances in medicine you will find that many drugs are still used today to rid us of pain, that were developed 20+ years ago. Subutex is one of the newer drugs to the States.The morphine pump is still a good old item, but since you have been on it so... long your hospital doctor felt this is the time for a change. Subutex is great for people withdrawing from pain meds., and you get the bonus it is also used for pain. I surely hope this works for you, please keep us informed.
