Once you finish the dosage prescribed for toenail fungus, do you get rid of your shoes?

Details:

I've heard that the shoes may harbor the fungus and could possibly reinfect your feet!

Possibly yes, it is recommended to wear clean, washed socks if you use them; each time you feel like smelly or wet feet, i did suffer from this problem years ago, used washed socks with detol before putting on my shoes, hope this helps?
