On 5/26/10 my dr. increased my Rx for v enlafaxine from 50 mg to 75 mg/day.
For the past 5 to 6 weeks, I have broken out in a very itchy rash over my chest, stomach, butt, back, and hips. I am scratched raw. Today I started my second rx for prednisone 10 mg to help eliminate the itchy rash. Could
this rash be a result of an allergic reaction due to the increase from 50 to
75 mg/day? Thank you for any input. I'm going crazy with
itching!
Can you develop an allergic reaction after increasing dosage of Venlafaxine from 50mg to 75mg a day?

Hello SadieBug2 - I see this post is over a year old. Are you still having the rash? Hives? If so, please repost with current symptoms. It might not be related to Rx at all. I cured my chronic urticaria in 2 days and if yours is still around, please contact me. Thanks!
