the doctor prescribed 500g,mg (whatever it is), for fungus on fingernails and toenails, the pharmicist said that 15 is the strongest dose this came in. the doctor insisted the prescription was correct. the pharmacy said it would amount to 750 bottles, at a cost of $45,000! what's really going on?
Nystatin/Triamcinolone - however the dosage is defined (for example 15g,15mg), how does 50 sound?

I have an RX for Triamcinolone Acetonide ointment USP, 0.1%454g , not sure if this
helps,BUT RX the 454 G is the AMOUNT OF OINTMENT. It says: each gram contains 1 mg. of Triamcinolone acetone I'm an ointment base of white petroleum & light mineral oil.....sounded awful close to home to NOT comment!
