I would not, take anything till you find out why she got the cough and rash. She may be already toxic. In the mean while, I would suggest taking an oatmeal bath. Take 2 cups of oatmeal, put it in a make-shift cloth bag. Hang the bag under the spiket on the bath tub. Once you draw a warm bath, she should start feeling better. Oatmeal is soothing and doing this a few times in the next 24 hours the rash should be gone. If it is no better call the doctor in the morning and get a script from him/her.
