Did you not get a period when you took out the Nuvaring for a week?
If you have been using Nuvaring for a few months then you shouldn't really miss a period, but then anything is possible. If it was in place properly for the month then you should be safe contraceptively, but I would suggest that you still get a pregnancy test done just to be sure.
