hubbycare...Using his affected arm from stroke, it has less feeling in it.The arm gave a lil blood, when I pulled the needle out this morning. Also, I noticed some bruising under his armpit like internal bleeding too, never seen that, I been doing it for a few weeks! I am I doing it wrong?

The usual places to inject insulin are the upper arm, the front and side of the thighs, and the abdomen.
It is common to have a little bruising but probably a good idea to get it checked just in case.
Insulin injected near the stomach works fastest, while insulin injected into the thigh works slowest. Insulin injected into the arm works at medium speed.
You should rotate the injection site.
