I have had head pressure/ congestion and headaches, have tried so many medicines nothing helps,Doctor wants me to try 25mg at bedtime for 7 days and then 2 at bedtime from there, Can this help me? I'm afraid of side effects, anyone can answer I'm 21 years old now and want my life back.

Had ct sinus-normal,spinal tap-normal,mri spine-normal,mri brain-small lesion found, thought i had sinus infection but not, they say tension headaches or migraines, no history in family are theses symptoms of migraine family ?

Hello wachniak. I read up on nortriptyline, user reviews and people taking it for migraines, and headaches are very satisfied with the drug. Side effects are minimal. Not certain if you're aware of this but if you look at the top of this page, there is a search engine, enter the word nortriptyline. thank you, I put myself back on gabapentin 300mgs one in morning, one a noon and two at bed, I guess we will see if this helps. to scared to try the other one. please let me know if this helps with migraines and headaches, they gave this to me to use awhile ago. this just stinks, woke up with bad headache again, it runs my life
