Nortriptyline - Anyone use this medication for IBS? Does it work?

I'm not positive, but my son , who is grown was having terrible stomach difficulties, & that's what they prescribed for him to take & it worked wonders. I would be interested in hearing if it does as I have IBS also & haven't found anything so far that helps me. I take a lot of meds tho, & that hasn't helped either in curing the IBS only made it more difficult... Mary
