Fixin to have surgery on my knee and was taking lortab 5s... Doc switched me to norco 5/325. I haven't started them and want know if its stronger or weaker. Not a big fan of pain meds and leery about something new.

Lortab and Norco have the same opiate pain killer in them which is hydrocodone (in this case 5mg). The other number is the amount of acetaminophen (tylenol) in the formula. So I suspect the doctor just changed the amount of acetaminophen and kept the amount of hydrocodone the same.
