Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer - I had my lower lobe removed from right lung in early october. miricle?

Nanrex, sorry to hear about all your trouble. I'd like to ask you a few questions if I may? My brother -law was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer two weeks ago. Since then they have moved him from Guam to an army hospital in Hawaii. It has spread throughout his entire body at this point. Have you ever heard of a Dr. Burzynski? He is a cancer doctor who has the Burzynski Clinic in Houston, Texas. The FDA and pharmacuticals have been trying to put him out of business since 1970. If you go to you tube, you will find several videos about him. Click on the very first one, it is a documentary with several people there witnessing their recovery or recoveries of loved ones. The information there is amazing. This man has cured over 100 different cancers. Skeptical? I was too until I did a lot of research on him and his clinic and his drug trials.

He started off working with children who had brain rumors from cancer that were not given more than 3 months to live. Some of these patients had already gone through the chemo and radiation treatments, which he states are the very treatments that are killing people. I'm not a doctor, I am a nurse, but what I really am is a family member who is desperate to help my sisters husband any way I can. I've listened to cancer survivors tell their stories over and over about how Dr. Burnyski's non-toxic drug cured them completely of end stage cancers. I do not believe that many people are all lying about this. One patient in particular was a 40 something year old woman with end stage cancer, who the doctors said had no chance of survival. She went on to say that she tried the chemo and radiation first, then heard about dr. Burnyski and was allowed into his trials due to the fact that she had no other options by her own doctor. One month after taking his medication, which is non-toxic, she was completely tumor free. Six months later it came back after she had stopped taking the drug. She was put back on it, and eight years later she is still cancer free. She wasn't supposed to live more than three months after her doctor diagnosed her with end stage lung cancer. For some reason, doctors around here get down right hostile when mentioning this doctors name. Is it a hoax? Or are they all just intimidated by this doctor? Pharmacutical companies make a trillion dollars a year on cancer treatments.chem and radiation literally destroy a persons organs. If I were diagnosed tomorrow with lung cancer, and there is a very real possibility of this, I would feel that I should at least give it a try. What would I have to lose? If it really is a non-toxic drug then there would be no bad side effects. Unlike the side effects of chemo and radiation. Please don't be offended by this letter to you. I wrote it with the best of intentions. The word cancer alone, strikes fear into the strongest of people. I am only seeking answers and possibly a solution to the situation I find myself in. Best of luck to you in whatever you decide to do. I only hope that if everything that is being said about this doctor is true, then why aren't all the doctors out there recommending this treatment? I understand why the FDA and pharmacuticals are trying to put him out of business. The cost of the cure is not anywhere close to the profit of the treatments out there. A lot of people (Pharmacutical companies, FDA, doctors) would be out of a lot of money when in competition against this doctor. I've decided that I don't have anything to lose by suggesting my brother-law seek out this doctors help. He has been told there is absolutely nothing they can do for him at this point but keep him pain free and wait for him to die. I don't give up that easily, so I will encourage them to fight this. My cancer is very much like yours I had the left lung done the same as your right and have now survived 2 years and now I'm on my 2 line chemo treatment. I recall that the first line treatment was the hardest so I feel for you. Eating was hard but the advise you have been given is eat what you enjoy and can keep down, one of the best things I did was eat with people as the conversation can take your mind away from just the core of eating. I think I ate more desserts than main meals, ice cream and fruit was a delight. Do you take Dexamethasone around your chemo treatments as they will help with a lot of issues and one is they help make you hungry with there steroid base. I use them 1 day before day of and 2days after treatment just don't take them after lunch time as they can also keep you awake. I have said for the two years on chemo that the days around treatment were the best days because I had an appetite and enjoyed eating.
