The pain which can be severe occurs when I lie down.
Niaspan ER - Can this cause muscle pain in only ONE leg only or should I look for another cause?

Hey Nanasueb,
I would definitely have the condition evaluated by the doctor asap. After reviewing the literature the following was noted:
Niacin has been shown to increase plasma homocysteine levels. Homocysteine is an independent risk factor for arterial occlusive disease.
You may have a blockage in the artery of the one leg. I would discuss with the doctor as soon as possible.
