CharlikartI took my first dose of oxybutynin yesterday, and I started having to pee every 5 min and my bladder was so painful I was in tears a few times. Has anyone had a similar reaction, or am I crazy? I thought it was supposed to help my issue. I have a prolapsed bladder, it hurt so bad I was shaking and almost did not make it to the bathroom to pee several times, I almost peed my pants.
Any info would be appreciated. Ty

I have had almost exactly the same symptoms i.e. pain and heat in my bladder, going to the toilet to pee more than ever. I stopped taking oxybutynin (I was prescribed it for bladder spasams) two days ago and so far today I have only needed to pee 4 times, plus my bladder seems to be a lot calmer now, lets hope it says this way….hope you get sorted too.
