Xopenex is a bronchodilator. It works by relaxing muscles in the airways to improve breathing. It works quickly and is used to relieve bronchospasm.
The dosage of the inhaler varies from patient to patient but is usually around 1 to 2 puffs every 4 to 6 hours.
It is generally well tolerated.
