Motleyscrew... due to long term injuries & the Norco is just not relieving the pain anymore. What would be recommended as a step up in pain management from Norco? OxyCodone maybe?
Need something slightly stronger then Hyrdrocodone. I am curently taking Norco?

Yes, oxycodone (percocet) would be the next step up from hydro. If you can get on oxycontin it would work better for long term but some doctors are against it and will think you are a druggie for asking for it. But either way, oxycodone would be a good step up for relief.

I think your best bet is always to ask your doctor what they recommend. Explain the Norco no longer helps and let them offer alternatives. Essentially that usually means the same result. Norco is not a schedule II and the next level drugs are. Many doctors try to avoid prescribing schedule II as the are much more controlled.However your doctor's job is to help keep you out of pain.
