Do wait until your first Sunday of your period or you may mess your cycle up. You can call the dr to see if he/she will ok taking it without waiting, but it helps regulate your cycle if you take it during your period because of the hormone levels at that time. Patti

I start my pills whenever. It can make your cycle wonky for a month or so if you start taking the pill when you haven't just stopped your cycle. If you take it, just expect some break through bleeding, honestly. Maybe a little more cramping, but that just may be me.
