i need a time released narcotic that is not morpnine,opana, or oxycontin. what is available out there other than these? the ones above i have been prescribed and the side effects , be it depression or drowsiness have me looking for something different. i live in chronic pain and a strong time released narcotic. is necessary, please help... leo ross

he offered fentanyl patches but even with my medicare my cost was more than $500/month , i dont know about other drug pain patches, they might be cheaper. do they work as well as pills?

Ask your dr about pain patches, they last all day and have all different kinds of opiate or non opiate... like a percocet pain patch, tramadol, and several others... ask dr about pain patches.. they are time released.. hope this helps
PS~the only reason why I know is because I asked my dr about them, and he said no to me, but explained them all to me... I hope your dr will do it for you... good luck~
