Details:

... read were blood in urine is a side affect but I don't think the darkness is caused by blood. It appears simliar to de-hydration. Should I be concerned?

Call your doctor: Get a urine analysis done. Also pick up the amount of water you are drinking. If you hate water, add crystal lite and that just might make it tolerable. Do not drink the red kind. There is lemonade and a few others that you can drink.

Thx, I drink only water/ aprox 1 gallon per day now.

Jim, how did this turn out? I just noticed the same thing, after about a week of Ranexa, with dark urine similar to what i used to only see first thing in the mornign. I seem to drink plenty of liquids. And I was starting to really like the drug ... I could indeed exercise longer without chest pain etc.

Did you ever get an answer to your question or a urine test?
