My son is on coumadin. He is having a really hard time bringing his level above 2. Does anyone have?

Is he seeing the Coumadin clinic. If not, he shouldm be. They are the ones to tell you how much coumadim to take to raise or lower. You don't state what his INR is. . Most say INR should be between 2-3. He needs to be going as often as the clinic says to get it adjusted, and then it has to be watched because it will go up and down according to what you eat, etc. Read everything you can on this blog and everything you can on the internet and take charge of your life, but stay with the clinic.
