My son has taken zyrtec for years and it doesn't seem as effective as it used to be?

Details:

Is xyzal different enough from zyrtec to make a difference, or will his system be too used to the active ingredient?

Xyzal is very close in its effects to Zyrtec, however, it is believed that it works better than Zyrtec, your son can try to take Xyzal to see if it works better for him, if not talk to your doctor. Probably it will require a more serious treatment
