My mum is being sick ,loss of apetite and tired ,on exelon for a wk , how long do side effect last?

Karen67; Unfortunately this is one of the major side affects of the Exelon patch. The same with Namenda and Aricept. If you notice that the medication is not really doing anything then I would talk to the Dr about stopping the medication. We did this with my dad and his appetite came back a little bit. Better then it was on the meds. It all depends on what stage your mom is in and how well she tolerates the treatment. Good luck
