No, she should not take Verapamil.
Tarka is in a group of drugs called ACE inhibitors and Verapamil is in a group of drugs called calcium channel blockers. They both work in different ways to reduce blood pressure and should not be substituted.
You should see your pharmacist. They may be able to give you an "emergency supply".

Sorry - have just realised that Tarka is a combination medicine and contains Trandolapril (an ACE inhibitor) as well as Verapamil (a calcium channel blocker). You should not substitute for just Verapamil.
