Hi, As most people here will tell you, I am not usually at a loss for words but vengle, you have really got me stumped??? I'm keying on phytonadione & K1. For the life of Me I cannot remembr ANY information on either vitamin K1 or phytonadione(Never heard of it) A gentelman by the name of Leon Schurgers Ph.D. Senior Scientist , Dept. of Biochemistry,University of Maastricht(wherever that is) , Is one of the worlds leading experts on Vitamin K, as it relates to Cardiovascular health. He says Vit. K is essential for keeping Calcium out of the arteries, and getting it to the bones that need it. Further?? Nowhere does He mention other than Vitamin K2 which goes by the name of "Menaqinone-7"! It is the Most Active Form of Vit.K in assisting the bodys use of Calcium.
