I can see why your doctor perscribed haloperdidol because of the dementia.Haloperidol can make a person drowsey or make them restless. On her next doctors appointment she should tell the doctor she is up all night and he should give her 5mg of ambien if she is old or 5mg sonata.or any sleeping pills but if she is elderly make sure she gets the lowest dose and then she should sleep much better.Hope this helped
