You may got a piece of cotton, or fiber from a bath towel in there that started the infection. You need to go to a doctor to have him/her to have a look and clean it out then give you some medicine to put on it. If not taken care of it will get smelly. If you drop peroxide in there it will burn and foam. Do not use a Q Tip to clean it out.
