My hydrocodone/apap 7.5/500mg tablets expired in 2008... Can I still take them?

I'm looking for some relief from pain associated with Rheumatoid Arthritis.

I still had some old darvocet before they got discontinued off the market that had expired and they still worked.I can't say I recommend it but they probably will be alright.

It is not recommended to take expired tablets as the efficacy of the drug/med reduces, it could also have toxic effects.

However, please do speak to a pharmacist before you do take the med.
