My husband was prescribed Mevacor but the pharmacy sent him Zocor. Is there any difference?

Call the pharmacy and let them know. They should give you Mevacor.
Although Mevacor (lovastatin) and Zocor (simvastatin) are both statins (the same class of lipid lowering medicines), they are different because different doses/strengths give different response.
Plus if your husband has been taking Mevacor before it's best to stay with it.
