Please help me understand why is he drinking beer, does he have a drinking problem, because thats not going to help him with kidney failure, he need his kidneys, and you need him. Sometimes we have to get help in helping our loved one. My dear you will need to get someone to help you with him, to leave that stuff alone, he really is doing an injustice to himself, I would also assume that he has a drinking issue perhaps. Try to take him to see someone such as a counselor or drug rehabilitation if he does not stop after talking to him, he needs to see that it is not good with his condition, get help for him, if you can!!! good luck to you, I know it is hard for you also, but get him more help... vtech10

blood preesure and kidney disease can go hand=in hand but beer can make things worse I know of a situation in where such a thing happened, questions as to why he continues to drink is he hooked feels as though he can't get by without it do you think if he were confronted by the physician that unless he stops that this may depend on whether he gets better or not would make a difference to him? We want whats best for you and for him and it concerns me that he uses medications and the beer and still does not improve please keep us posted I am not sure I've been any help it bothers me because I care lovingsonbj
