Alprazalam (tranquilizer), Tizanidine (muscle relaxent) 80 tablets of Oxycodone and 180 tablets of Hydrocodone. Am I the only one that thinks this is excessive and poor judgment on the part of the doctor?
My husband has been prescribed the following medication by one doctor within days of each other?

It all depends on the milligrams he is taking not the amount of pills. If he has been taking other pain pills for a while, this may not be excessive. If this is the first time he has taken pain meds, then this is pretty heavy. The thing that concerns me most is taking the alprazolam with the others. He could get depressed respirations which can be dangerous.
