My five year old grand daughter has epilepsy and is being treated with Depakote Sprinkles. My question is, are there any physicians that treat the side affects caused by Depakote Sprinkles?

Her symptoms consist of hair loss, bruising on her body, Mood alterations, emotional, mental, side affects... these side affects alter her mood everyday, and everyday its different. Shes also on Keto Genetic Diet, which also has side affects, that are affecting her...
Transient hair loss can be expected but mood changes are most likely serious side effects of Depakote. Please get her to see the doctor ... her condition/medicines need to be reviewed.

She see's Doctors at Boston Childrens Hospital every three months, and a Dietitian for the Keto Diet..She can't be weaned from the Depakote because the wean causes seizures. She is on a high dose of Kepra as well. Were trying to find Doctors that specialize in the side affects of these medicines so they can all get a better understanding of how to cope...
