My father takes haloperidol and has been in hospital for a triple heart by pass, should he still?

... take the medication he is showing signs of severe confusion but does not have dimentia he also takes priadel for schritzophenia

You should talk with the doctors responsible for his treatment in hospital. It sounds as though his medications need re-evaluating.
