Your dad should probably talk to his doctor again. Commit lozenges really shouldn't be used for longer than 12 weeks but many people get "hooked" on the lozenges - which is still better and safer option than smoking!

this really never was answered. I to am addicted to commit lozenges.What harm do they cause if on them longer than 12 weeks? They do seem to help and i think im afraid i will start smoking again if i stop them
