My dog got hit by a car and I dont have 600 dollers for the vet so I was wondering what I can give?

my heart goes out for youan your lil dog will be in my prayers. first how long ago did this happen an what is it's normal bowel habits. As long as it is drinking that is a good thing due to dehydration. I would call the vet back an ask him what you should look for as in signs of internal bleeding. Is your dog acting normally also she will be sore for sure.ask the vet what kind of med can you give it for I know you can give a dog aspirin etc, hope this helps

Call a pet rescue and they know people that will donate to help you. I was at a large pet store last weekend and there was a woman there setting up her finanical services to help out the rescue or anyone the rescue knew that needed help.

OMG I am so sorry. I would give you the money if I could. My dog was my best friend and I know if this had happened I wouldn't know what to do. Why don't you call a vet and ask where you can take him or maybe they will see him and give you a break for the fee that you could pay off in time. Is he crying or guarding himself as though were in pain. Have you touched his belly or back or anywhere that he seems to have tenderness in any particular area. Is he walking around acting differenly if you think he may be bleeding internally I would not give him any asprin containing pain killers. I would hold off on even tylenol until you talk to a vet. Please just start calling every vet you can find. There are vets out there that will help no matter what. Or, maybe they will give you a discount and work out a payment plan. If he hasn't gone to the bathroom or is not drinking that is not a good sign. And like the person before me said a rescue shelter. I wish with all my heart I could help. My dog jumped out of my husband's truck window Thanksgiving Day. Luckily my daughter-in-law is a Vet Tech and she came over a gave her a good check up. But she is a feisty little girl and just had road rash. I got lucky. Good luck to you. And don't wait to long. My heart goes out to you... Kimmie1

First I want to say I'm so sorry and I understand what your experiencing. My dog Leah just got hit by a truck last night. I have no income and the Vet needed about $400.00. Don't give up there is HELP out there. Leah's Vet told me a few places to call for asistance. They helped me and Leah is on her way to recovery. Here are some resoures that I used:
