She says since I am 4 years post liver transplant i no longer need myfortic. I take 360mg delayed release myfortic 2tabs in the morning and at night. so thats 720mgs 2 times a day. i am worried that my liver will reject if i stop myfortic cold turkey. i think my doctor is either dumb or trying to use me as a guiney pig. i also take prograf 3mgs twice a day and 5mgs of prednisone a day. i am worried i could die without my myfortic or if i do as she says and stop cold turkey i am afraid of what might happen. I need more info on this matter

I realize this answer is a bit late but I'm actually interested to know what you did. Did you stop taking Myfortic?
Is the doctor who is instructing you to stop taking Myfortic a renal specialist? If not then I would consult the specialist just to be sure. If the doctor is your renal consultant then I'm sure they know what they are doing.
