Is this a result?
My doctor told me to take Prevacid 24 hr twice a day. My abdomen hurts and I have very loose bowel?

Stomach pain is a common side effect of Prevacid (lansoprazole), so yes it could be due to Prevacid (and twice daily dosing of a 24 hour pill is probably not helping either). I can't even understand WHY the doctor gave you a 24 hour tablet, to take twice a day.
