Hello Tonya422. Alcohol will slow down your body's capability to ingest the ery-tab and so its not working as fast as it should be and also lessens the potency of the ery-tab. Its (ery-tab) an antibiotic and alcohol lessens the potency of an antibiotic. best wishes to you,
