She was diagnosed a few years ago w/ADHD and is now 6 yrs old. She was on Adderall, but that med. just was not doing her any good, it was almost like giving her an aspirin, no effect. Anyway my question is how long does it take for the Metadate to take effect? Because I ve seen no difference in her behavior in the past 4 days.

Hello elsiewilt. I believe within another day, at the most. The drug is time released and is meant to do so within a 24 hour period. If you see no improvement or a result soon, you might contact your daughters doctor and explain whats going on. Best wishes, hope all does go well for her,pledge
