Hello,

This medication may be swallowed whole or the capsule can be opened and the entire contents sprinkled onto a small amount (teaspoonful) of soft food, such as pudding. Drinking water right after taking the sprinkle and food mixture will help make sure all sprinkles are swallowed. And it does not change the effect.-

Take care.-

She has trouble sometimes and will hold it in her mouth for several minutes. Just wondering if that could cause problems.

I understand, but there is no problem if you open the capsule and administer it as I mentioned on my answer, it will have no change at all on it´s effectivness.-
