Hello ninny42. Yes it is safe. Intuniv -Guafacine is used to treat ODD as well as ADHD. Its not a CNS (Stimulant) and not considered to be a drug that can be habit forming. Which is good news, Its usually in the case of children, started around the age of five or six years of age. I do hope your daughter does well on the drug.
