Has she had them all her life? Be safe and have them checked by a dermatologist. Really all you do is watch for any changes,i.e. color, redness, discharge, size. The dermatologist may have them removed by laser or give her an ointment to stop any skin irritation. I'm sure they are nothing to worry about. Especially if she has had them for years. And always use sun protection. You can look them up on the Net and see pictures of various ones and it will tell you what signs to watch out for, etc..
Best wishes Linda,
Chris

I am now 20 years old..& i was diagnosed with melanoma and squamous cell carcinoma when i was 18 years old... they were in the same mole which is veryy verryy rare... I would go get them removed..I had a mole i had all my life a little lower than the small of my back. It started irritating me and got red and raised and i went to the doctor twice and both told me its nothing to be worried about its just infected and gave me a topical to put on it..6 months later it changed dramatically in size shape and color. So i went to a plastic surgon and got it removed. in the 6 months it moved into my lymphnodes and into my liver. and other parts of my body... i wouldnt take no chances and if it look suspicious i would get it taken off.

I had one for years on my back about the size of a pencil eraser and I finally had it removed. It didn't hurt at all. Mine was across the back where my bra line was and it was irritating. It was cauterized and healed very fast and they did a biopsy and it wasn't anything to worry about. Hope that helps.
